Imagine having this weird dream.
In your dream, you see your future self working on his laptop.
To see what it’s about, you go closer to him and get a peek into his laptop.
He’s writing a tweet about how he built his business.
To your surprise, he pointed out he built this entire business without typing a line of code on his laptop.
He said, “Use No-Code tools to build your business“.
You had a pretty good laugh but soon got a serious expression after looking at his dashboard displaying “$38 in Revenue“.
You freaked out a bit and this disturbed your sleep.
When you woke up, you realized that you had a new sales notification pop up on your mobile.
Your realized that your current day is the day you saw in your dream as the future.
You didn’t laugh, but you smiled…
Well, this happened to me one day and it’s one of my best dreams.
Let me point it out again.
You can build your business for pretty much $0 using No-Code tools.
Before we dive into the specific tools, I would like to know if you enjoy reading my emails every week :
Here are 3 tools I leveraged that form the foundational pillars of my business :
Notion
( The System Tool )
Notion is a simple tool to build custom systems for your business.
You can create complete dashboards for your business and manage an entire team of members.
Overall, managing and controlling your business metrics in a central system is easier.
Best Notion feature : Databases
Databases are primarily the storehouse of your information & data.
Every business is primarily data-driven.
Notion sits well within this framework of collecting your business data.
You can build CRMs, SOPs and Revenue Metric Dashboards in Notion.
And every data that flows in and out of your business can be logged in Notion.
And what’s more is that you can use custom automations in Notion to scale your business.
There’s more to Notion than just databases.
I started out building my personal dashboards in Notion to grow my solo business.
Now, I build systems in Notion and share as templates so every business owner can enjoy growing their business with much ease.
Canva
( The Design Tool )
If your product creates the value perception of your brand, your designs create the visual perception.
Great businesses are great attention-holders through designs.
You’ll easily recognize McDonalds, Tesla, Microsoft, and Apple with their logos and visual style.
Your designs form one of the strongest pillars of your business.
Designing for $0 with almost no barrier to entry or friction is a luxury with Canva.
Canva is the most beginner-friendly design tool I would use if I restart from scratch.
Best Canva feature : Drag & Drop
If you’re just starting your buisness, start learning how to design in Canva.
It quickly turns you from a beginner to an intermediate in designing provided you have basic UI skills.
You can create custom designs for your business like posters, banners, and logos with simple drag-and-drops.
This is the best part about Canva.
I create and manage my entire visual content in Canva.
You can create the entirety of your business visuals in one tool for $0.
It comes with stock images to use, reources you need to create anything with app integrations.
It’s crazy thinking about it.
Framer
( The Website Tool )
Framer is a pretty new tool I came across.
But, I instantly fell in love once I saw its potential applications.
You can create an entire website for your business without writing almost a single line of code.
If you don’t get the scale of this idea, let me clarify it.
Even in the early 2000s, if you want to build your website,
You had to learn programming languages
You had to master HTML, CSS, and JS at least
You had to spend tedious hours writing 1000s of lines of code
You must find and hire a developer if you don’t want to build it yourself
Writing code to build your website is great for professionals, but the relative amount of time and effort you put in is huge.
Now, you can do it for $0 by yourself just by dragging and dropping.
And Framer is the best tool in my stack to build websites.
It saves hours of effort and requires little knowledge of coding so I can focus more on my business.
Best Framer feature : Breakpoints
The quality of a website can be determined by testing how well it adapts across multiple devices and platforms.
This is one of my primary measuring factor.
I love websites that can scale and adapt well across devices without breaking.
Breakpoints in Framer enable you to build your website compatible across different screen sizes.
It’s one of my favourite features.
You can set the limits of the display size to create multiple views.
I can create different layouts for my website as to how it’ll look in desktops, tablets, and also mobile devices.
You can also create custom breakpoints in Framer suitable to your own device of choice.
One of the best Framer creator I like is Cedric who writes on
.
That’s how I built and am currently running my entire business for 0 bucks.
1 tool for Systems (Notion)
1 tool for Design (Canva)
1 tool for Website (Framer)
You leverage tools that create more time for you to focus on the growth of your business than managing it all the time.
